Plain-English privacy
This portfolio is designed to collect as little information as possible. Marideco is the trading name used by Mark Colquhoun for independent systems work.
The consultation form prepares an email in your own email application. It does not send the contents to a Marideco database. If you email directly, the information is handled through the receiving email service and retained only as needed to answer your enquiry or deliver agreed work.
Public demonstrations use fictional or anonymised information. Some save changes in your browser using local storage or IndexedDB so the interfaces can behave like real applications. That local demo data can be cleared through the demo controls or your browser.
The current site does not use advertising trackers or behavioural profiling. Standard hosting infrastructure may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser type and access time for security and reliable delivery.
Do not include sensitive operational or personal information in an initial enquiry. You can ask what contact information is retained, request correction or deletion where applicable, or stop an email consultation at any time.
