Data, access and continuity
Local control is part of the product.
Workbench normally runs in your environment. Licensing verifies the software—not the contents of your operational records.
Stays in your environment
Users, records, files, notes and business metrics remain local unless a specifically agreed integration needs otherwise.
Minimal by design
Customer or licence ID, module IDs and versions, last check and status—never the contents of your business records.
Cached local continuity
The intended signed licence cache keeps the system available when the update or licence service cannot be reached.
Read-only access, sign-in and export
After a one-time 30-day grace period, editing may pause. Historical and safety-critical records remain visible and exportable.

Is Workbench ready to deploy now?
Yes—as a small-team local pilot. A production rollout would add the final configuration, security review, backup plan, integrations and, where required, existing SSO, managed licensing and update services.
Do we have to replace our current systems?
Usually not. The preferred starting point is to read or connect what already works—Excel, CSV, JSON, databases, APIs or exports from current software—then add the missing workflow, reporting or interface around it.
Where does our operational data go?
The normal setup runs in your environment, so your users, records and files stay with you. Marideco does not need copies of your day-to-day data. The intended licence service sees only an account identifier, installed module versions, last-check time and licence status—not your operational records.
What happens if the licence service is unavailable—or we stop renewing?
A cached signed licence is intended to keep the local system working during a service outage. After non-renewal, a one-time 30-day grace period would be followed by read-only access: users can still sign in, view records and export data. Historical or safety-critical records are never deleted or hidden.
Who owns the data and the software?
You own and can export your data. Marideco retains the Workbench shell and reusable module IP; those are licensed to you. Bespoke module IP remains with Marideco unless exclusivity is separately purchased. A usable configuration export can be included in the handover.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is by scoped quotation because a four-user reporting module and a multi-site connected workflow are materially different jobs. The free email consultation is used to understand the need before you are asked to commit to anything.
Will the AI make decisions or send things on its own?
Only where that behaviour is explicitly safe, wanted and approved. The default pattern is bounded input, approved context, a visible draft, human review and a retained audit event. The working AI demo shows that control model.
What happens after the first email?
We continue by email at no charge until there is enough shared understanding to decide whether to proceed. If you want to build, you receive a written scope and quotation. Calls or site visits are paid or negotiated build-discovery work used to gather detailed requirements—not speculative sales meetings.
